We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee two locations in the Netherlands. This role will lead a team of over 30 professionals across Manufacturing, R&D, and Customer Support.
Role Description
As the Site Manager at OctoFrost BV, you will be responsible for the overall management of two facilities in the Netherlands. This includes oversight of daily operations, production activities, maintenance, and ensuring smooth coordination across multiple departments.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee profit and loss accounts, as well as balance sheets for Dutch legal entities.
- Lead and manage all staff at the Dutch locations, ensuring team performance and engagement.
- Collaborate with the management team to define and implement business strategies and operational plans.
- Ensure the delivery of sold projects aligns with customer expectations, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Process Owners to maintain adherence to the Quality Assurance System.
- Manage daily coordination across Purchasing, Production, and Inventory.
- Host customer visits and collaborate closely with the Sales team to support business growth.
- Travel 30-50 nights per year to meet with customers, suppliers, and other group companies globally.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in mechanical or electrical operations, with hands-on expertise.
- Proficient in ERP systems and a strong understanding of financial accounting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to upholding company values, including teamwork, customer focus, and innovation.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (German is a plus but not required).
